We will begin our sightseeing with visit to the Asakusa Kannon Temple – also known as the Senso-Ji and center of one of the country’s largest and most popular annual festivals.  We will stop by at the bustling Nakamise street which is located right after the temple’s outer gates. It’s a traditional style shopping street with several centuries of history. Continue to board our cruise from Asakusa to Hamarikyu, the former imperial and shogunate gardens maintain a natural green space among the gleaming, high-rise buildings. Near the entrance is an impressive 300-year-old pine tree very carefully pruned over the centuries into an impressive weeping expanse, and beyond that are the flower fields which offer year round blooms including vibrant peonies, colza and cosmos. The Sakura tree’s rooted in the garden are set against a backdrop of the skyscrapers of Shiodome, offering a great contrast of modern and age-old Tokyo. Beautiful even on cloudy or rainy days, the Sakura trees take on a further magical hue especially on sunny days, reflecting their mesmerizing pinks in bright sunlight.

Next, learn how to create your own sushi with a professional sushi chef. Whatever you make, you will get to eat for lunch! Afterwards, make your way to the Tsukiji Outer Market, filled with shops and restaurants where you can try fresh produce and other food-related goods. Then, we will proceed to the Imperial Palace, the current residence of Japan’s Imperial Family and former site of the Edo Castle. It is surrounded by moats and stone fortifications, located in the heart of Tokyo. Finally, we will visit Ueno Park, home to over one thousand Cherry trees, this park transforms into a sea of pink blossoms. It’s no surprise many locals and tourists flock to here to see the cherry blossoms. While we are sure you’ll enjoy yourself at this beautiful park, we want to remind you to be courteous of your surroundings, not to litter, and please do not pick flowers off the cherry blossom trees
